About Home-Start Teignbridge
We are a local community network of trained volunteers. We help families with children through challenging times
How we help
Home-Start Teignbridge helps children and changes lives. Working with families who have young children, we support them even when life is tough.
We believe families need support to solve problems before they become a crisis. We are there to give that support so that parents learn to cope. This improves their confidence and enables them to become more effective parents.
The first five years of your child’s life are vital for their development. Everything that happens during these years within the family strongly determines the life chances and opportunities your children will have.
Children who are brought up in a loving and stable family environment will have a positive and happy future.
Home-Start works because our volunteers are parents and they understand how hard it can be to bring up children. They work with parents to help them cope with the stresses of life.
What we do
